National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Construction Sector Approved for the 2025–2026 Period

The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion approved the Collective Bargaining Agreement entered into by the trade union organizations and the representatives of employers under the special labor regime for the construction sector. The agreement will be in force for the 2025–2026 period. This decision was formalized through a ministerial resolution and recognizes the agreements reached as a result of the national collective bargaining process in the sector.

The agreement establishes the labor and economic conditions applicable to construction workers nationwide, strengthening rights, benefits, and commitments that contribute to labor stability, predictability in employment relations, and the promotion of social dialogue. It also reflects the consensus achieved by the parties following the negotiation process, in accordance with the applicable legal framework and the principles governing collective bargaining.

The approval of this instrument highlights the role of the State as a guarantor of compliance with collective agreements and as a promoter of balanced labor relations, particularly in a sector that is key to economic growth and the execution of public and private works. Through this measure, the authorities seek to ensure adequate working conditions, promote labor peace, and contribute to the sustainable development of the construction sector.

The 2025–2026 Collective Bargaining Agreement thus becomes an important benchmark for both employers and workers, as it establishes clear rules with nationwide scope, strengthens the institutional framework of social dialogue, and reaffirms the commitment of the parties to respect labor rights and ensure the continuity of productive activities in the sector.
