Guillermo Alarcón

Guillermo is an outstanding lawyer with a solid academic background and extensive experience in the field of construction law, alternative dispute prevention and resolution, public procurement and arbitration. He graduated in Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in 2012 and has since devoted his career to developing his leadership in these specialized areas.
He began his career at NPG in 2011 and quickly became a key member of the firm, assuming the lead for our NEC Contracts product with mastery and strategic vision. His deep knowledge of the sector has resulted in his being recognized both in the academic and professional fields as one of the main players in the country.
Guillermo is a postgraduate lecturer in “Project Management, Construction and Collaborative Contracts” at ESAN, as well as in “Legal Aspects During Construction” at the UPC.
Guillermo is a prolific author in the legal field, having contributed articles such as "The Project definition role in the election of a public project delivery model in Australia and South America" in the International Construction Law Journal (2020) and co-authored works such as "Applying FIDIC Contracts in Peru – Chapter 11" in FIDIC Contracts in the Americas - A Practical Guide to Application (2023) and "Peru Chapter in The International Compendium of Construction Contracts" (2021).
His commitment to legal excellence and his leadership in the development of the NEC Contract are evidence of his valuable contribution to the NPG Abogados team.
