Mariano Linares

Mariano is a lawyer specialized in Administrative Law and Construction Law, with a particular focus on State Contracting, Dispute Boards and Arbitration. He graduated in Law from the Universidad de Lima in 2019.
He has a diploma in State Contracting from the Universidad Católica San Pablo and was trained in Oral Litigation at the Universidad de Salamanca. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Administrative Law and Market Regulation at the Universidad de Piura.
In 2022, Mariano joined NPG as a member of the engineering team, providing advice on the execution of construction contracts, including the drafting of submissions, temporary measures and other Dispute Board briefs. He is also in charge of preparing and handling arbitration claims, as well as the writing of reports and opinions associated with public procurement and administrative law in general.
Mariano is co-author of the article “Implementación tecnológica en la Gestión de Contratos del Estado en el Perú” (Technological implementation in the management of government contracts in Peru), published in the book Contratación Pública Digital (Digital Public Contracting), and author of the article “Medidas Cautelares en los Arbitrajes bajo la Ley de Contrataciones del Estado” (Precautionary Measures in Artbitrations under the State Contracting Law), published in the book El Derecho Administrativo ante los Retos Institucionales del País (Administrative Law in the Face of the Country’Institutional Challenges).
Mariano brings to NPG not only his robust academic background and experience in law, but also his ability to provide strategic advice on complex contracts and arbitration, consolidating his position as a key member in the engineering area of the firm.
