This will be the viaduct La Molina – Angamos
After waiting for 40 years, La Molina is now closer to diminish traffic on its district with the “declaration of interest” for the project “La Molina – Angamos Conection”, approved last Tuesday by Lima’s Council.
The project will require an investment of US$ 521 million. It will be one lane of 12,2 kms from the Raul Ferrero Avenue, in La Molina, to the intersection in Angamos with Petit Thouars (Miraflores).
It will consist of 7 phases, including viaducts, off-level passages and the construction of a modern tunnel under the Centinela Mountain.
According to the regulations, after this declaration the process of evaluation and the adjudication is open for 90 days, in order to allow others companies to present their proposals.
It is estimated that it will diminish traffic jams in 40% on the district and also lower the traveling time.
