Lead Attorney in NPG. Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, with a postgraduate diploma in Construction Law from the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences, specialization in International Arbitration and Investments, and specialization in Management and Business Management from the University of the Pacific.
Specialist in construction law, state contracting and arbitration. He has participated and advised in different infrastructure projects in Peru, in the elaboration and management of contracts for mining, road, port, building and hydropower projects, and in Private Initiatives for Public Private Associations (PPPs) and concessions.
Guillermo has developed and managed contracts, as well as prepared and sustained claims in projects under the traditional contracting systems, Design Build, EPC, EPCM, Construction Management (CM), supervision and consulting.
He has also developed and advised on different projects under the formats of Construction (Red Book), Plant and Design Build (Yellow Book) and EPC / Turnkey Projects (Silver Book) of FIDIC.
He has successfully defended in institutional and ad hoc arbitrations, as well as in national and international arbitrations in commercial matters as well as in contracting with the State in the engineering and construction sector.
He has also participated in different arbitrations administered by the International Chamber of Commerce with application of rules of the International Bar Association – IBA.
He is co-author of the research on the “Use of Design and Construction Contracts (Design Build)” in America.
